Holistic wellness support hubs for women and girls
Wellness and Support Hub for women and children The Vavengers charity in partnership with Lasting Support Foundation
Join us for an afternoon of women-only safe support and wellness hub to receive support or to meet women in your local community. This is a space you can bring your children for a children's group play session, and when women are in the wellness session, children can enjoy a range of activities from art, music to sports therapy.
This women-only space is created by a women-led charity to support women in their local communities and ensure they have well-being support in place and that women can seek support if they are surviving any form of violence against women and girls. We welcome all women to this space.
On the day, you will get to meet women from your local community, hear from survivors of abuse on how they started a life after abuse, receive a wellness session and be able to take away free period products and any other essential items available.
Hereβs what you can expect:

Support booklet
We have a detailed booklet that curates information on different types of abuse, how to spot the signs, and how to get support in the UK.
Since its success at our hubs it has been developed and adopted for use in many spaces, including community partners and governmental organisations. View and download for free on our resources page.
