The Vavengers wins RMNI Love Award by Rimini Street

We are delighted to receive the support of Rimini Street and a huge thank you to RMNI Love Award charity team for recognising and supporting our work in such a big way.

We made no secret of the fact this year as with all women and girls specialised charities we are struggling to raise funds as grants and individual giving were understandably redirected or halted due to new global wars. At challenging times like this, it’s important that for-profit businesses step in to address the funding gap our sector faces as often the women and girls sector is the first to be affected at times of crisis.

Each year, Rimini Street awards five charities across the globe with their RMNI Love Award which comes with a £10,000 cheque to support their work. This year, we were happy to be one of these organisations and the cheque was presented with a celebratory party in Central London.

We have big plans to get creative with our fundraising (stay tuned), but for now this will ensure we can keep our precious team and continue supporting and advocating for our community of women and girls. ✊

Our CEO Sema Gornall accepted this striking (and fun!) cheque with our longstanding Creative Ambassador DYLEMA. As we continue building new relationships with for-profit businesses to create corporate social responsibility avenues for them with our work, programmes like the RMNI Love Award can be critical for small female-led organisations like ours. Thank you from all The Vavengers.
