Story of the Girl; a film by The Vavengers premiered at the UN

The animation was created by the talented animator Lou Webb, with brand leadership of Megan Barclay, production assistance of Simma Gershenson, and our volunteers. The moving music was composed by Tom Scott, and this film is a true representation of why we exist and why we continue fighting to end Gender-Based Violence even under the most challenging circumstances.

Watch, share, talk about it to support our work, because when women and girls rise, we all thrive.

We made an animation film! 'Story of the Girl' premiered at the UN HQ during UNGA80, and we were delighted to host our voice artist, Tracy Ifeachor, as our keynote speaker.

The story was written and produced by our CEO, Sema Gornall, and made up of stories of all the survivors who work at The Vavengers. The girl is all the girls we have supported and continue to support, and we campaign, convene and connect so that we can build a world where no other girl is subjected to any form of violence.
